Zespół Shashamane powstał w 2015r. W swoim składzie zgromadził doświadczonych muzyków, których połączyła pasja jaką jest fascynacja jamajskimi brzmieniami, zwłaszcza roots reggae i dub. W 2017 roku zespół wydał debiutancki krążek pt. „Origin & Culcha”. Nad miksem i masteringiem czuwał holenderski muzyk i producent Marc Baronner.
